Fishing Report & Pictures 2014-15
FIRST RAINS ARRIVE
Everybody is waiting fo the rains to start. Finally today (10/17/14) a soaking rain has arrived and every indication is that the river will be on the rise. As of today, about 2200 salmon has passed a fish counting station on the lower Smith and salmon have been seen all the way up to Gasquet. The mouth is still good fishing but the whole river should open up this weekend. So time to dust off the poles, get some fresh line on the reels, sharpen the hooks and get after 'em.
